Okay, I had to toss “music” in the title somewhere for these two because they are both super musically gifted! Both teach it, and from what we’ve heard do like 43798 side projects between them for their shared passion, so it’s only fitting that it’s used as a describing word for their perfect union! For real though, Andrea and Joe’s wedding? It was wonderful. Both were so calm during the whole morning, everything went right to plan, and when they saw each other, oh man, it was so perfect.
When I first arrived where the girls were getting ready, one of Andrea’s bridesmaids came over immediately and presented Andrea with flowers and a note from Joe! It was so sweet, and I’m so happy that they thought to wait until I was there so I could capture Andrea’s reaction, she was so touched (also, how stinking cute is her getting ready dress?!)!
And did I mention that her details for the day were awesome? Blue shoes (talk about a perfect ‘something blue’) and a statement necklace, my kind of bride!
These two got married at St. Charles Borromeo and let me tell you, the inside of that church is absolutely gorgeous! It made for some stunning photos during their ceremony and as a Cleveland wedding photographer, walking into an awesome church like that? Well it just puts a huge smile on my face!
After their ceremony, Joe & Andrea had decided on Brecksville Reservation for photos and I was beyond thrilled – that area offers such great locations for photos, plus, it’s somewhere that they can easily go and reminisce together about their wedding day and photos since it’s not far at all!
This bridge was seriously awesome!
I should also say it right now, Andrea & Joe picked such a perfect bridal party. Everyone was full of laughs and smiles the entire day, which I’m sure made the day THAT much more memorable for these two.
This next photo. Andrea, my goodness, you looked so beautiful. And I’ve said it before, you know I love this little smirk you have going on in this image! (:
We then made it to the reception which was great. Their venue had lights draped everywhere and it made it look so classic and beautiful.
I was also BEYOND thrilled when they told me they would budget some time at their reception to head outside and get some sunset photos! Couples, if you have a later ceremony and don’t have a ton of time in between your ceremony and reception, do this! It’s so worth it! The sunset was being a little fickle for us at first, but then it came in with this pretty blue and purple sky that ironically fit right in with the blues in their wedding. Thanks, Mother Nature!
As the night went on, their reception was a riot! Lots of dancing, singing, and laughing carried on throughout their night.
And then this end of the night photo was a perfect way to end their reception, it still cracks me up every time I look at it! Andrea and Joe, you guys seriously are awesome. I’ve probably said that word like 20 times throughout this blog entry but I can’t help it, you really are! Thank you guys so much for letting us capture your wedding day!
Oh, PS, your rings are gorgeous, in case you forgot. (:
