Sara and Chris had such a fun wedding, we still feel so super lucky to have been able to travel down near Columbus, Ohio to capture it! Between these two, their awesome bridal party, and their wedding itself, the entire day was so much fun from beginning to end. We started our day out with the ladies getting ready, which included lots of giggles and LOTS of super awesome jams to listen to as they got ready!
The morning for the guys was pretty mellow. Some college football on the TV, some music being played by Chris acting as DJ with his laptop, and some casual conversation. Once they started getting ready, the guys were quick to wake up and help each other with ties, cufflinks, etc.
Soon enough, it was time for the ceremony to start! After the morning we had with both Sara & Chris, we had a feeling their ceremony was going to be perfectly “them”. It was sweet and sincere and perfectly about those two as they wed on a pretty day in September!
And just like that, it was time to hang with the bridal party and take some fun photos! Sara picked the locations for their photos and we couldn’t have been more excited – she did an AMAZING job. Since we’re mainly Cleveland wedding photographers, we more than welcomed her suggestions for where the photos should take place. Once we got down to the Dublin area and did our preliminary scoping out of the locations, we very quickly saw she picked places that wound up being perfect! Woo!
Jim captured this next photo of Sara and I just LOVE it. Sara, girl, you looked beyond stunning on your wedding day!
Next it was time to take a moment for the bride and groom themselves, and I just loved getting to see these two so happy after being newly married. It’s one of the best parts of our jobs that we get to spend the most wonderful day with our clients, with so much love and happiness around at all times.
We continued on around the area with the bridal party and had a ton of fun! This group, man, they were just so awesome!
A little basketball acting for the guys – Chris played a game of basketball earlier that morning before the wedding happened! Not a bad start to the day!
Next came one of the most awesome moments ever for not only Sara & Chris, but for Jim and myself as well. Sara & Chris had just finished building their house in Dublin and wanted to head there to take a quick photo. Now, when I say ‘just finished building’ I mean they literally didn’t even get the keys yet and were spending their honeymoon moving into their brand new house! How awesome is that? Talk about starting a new life together once you’re married – and we felt so lucky to be able to capture the first photos of them and their house! (And hello – their house is AWESOME!)
We then made one last stop at another park nearby before heading to the reception, and it yielded one of my favorite photos from the entire day! (: It was so sweet and so perfect, I knew as soon as I took it that I would love it!
Then came party time at the reception!
The night continued with some great music, awesome dance moves, and a lot of fun for all of their guests!
Sara & Chris – we’re still so excited to have been a part of your day! We hope that you two are enjoying your awesome new home in Dublin and are making tons of newly married/newly homeowner memories! 😀 Xoxo!
