Meet Michelle & Marc: these two are awesome. Being able to work with them to capture this engagement session and their wedding next year is something that I’m so honored to do, because you see, we met these two through a mutual friend and are lucky enough to get to see them every once in a while at social events! I still remember the days before they were officially dating and Michelle was gushing over how much she liked Marc, and that they were basically going to get married and have adorable babies and now, that first part of the dream is a reality – they’re set to get married next June! We started their session casually wandering around E. 4th Street in downtown Cleveland, and it was so much fun.
We then meandered into a cute alleyway right off of E. 4th by Zocalo and hung there for a little while. Being a Cleveland wedding photographer is so fun for the sheer fact that downtown has SO much to offer, and we were happy to take advantage of that!
Oh, in case you didn’t notice, these two both have a killer sense of style. I swear, it looks like they both walked out of a magazine and onto the streets of downtown Cleveland. What more could a photographer want? (:
From there we headed up to the new Ernst & Young building downtown because Marc works there! So, with his super sweet access, we were able to go to the roof terrace and take some additional photos – how freaking cool is that?! I mean, we may or may not have had a little issue at first because the security guards didn’t want to let us up (even though Marc put all of our names on the list) but in the end it all worked out. I’d like to thank Marc again for being so calm and collected in that situation, because I probably wouldn’t have been that nice! (:
Michelle, stop it, you are beyond gorgeous!
After we left that area we figured it would be a perfect time for them to show their love for the best city in all the world, Cleveland. And why not do that with a different take on the skyline from across the river? I love that they both proudly wore their “CLE” shirts – I think it’s one of the very few outfits that couples can get away with wearing the same thing!
We ended with a nighttime shot of a different view of the skyline, and it. was. awesome. Michelle & Marc, you guys are super rad and we are SO beyond thrilled to be able to document your wedding next June! Aside from some of the hooligans in your bridal party (ha!) we’re sure everything is going to be beyond amazing – we can’t wait!
