It only seems fitting that these two found each other and fell in love, they’re both great music teachers! Meet Andrea & Joe, they are both so fun and clearly in love, and, like I mentioned, they are both kick butt music teachers! We started their session at a park near their house and then ventured for the bulk of the session at Edgewater Park in downtown Cleveland and I think we made some epic magic on this session!
It was very common for Joe to be doing something silly to make Andrea laugh, and it was an absolute joy to be able to capture them being their normal selves!
These two just clicked, ya know what I mean?
We then made our trek to Edgewater Park for the remainder of the session. Did I mention that the forecast for this night was supposed to be rain and thunderstorms? Up until the time we were in the car on the way to Edgewater I was convinced that somehow it was going to start pouring, and then something amazing happened: it didn’t. Also, not only did it not rain, but as you’ll see coming up in the following photos, we got a pretty sweet sunset through the clouds as well. Oh, the joys of being a Cleveland wedding photographer, you never know what kind of weather you’re going to have!
As we were taking shots I noticed things getting even sillier, and saw Joe stick his tongue out at Andrea! Well, naturally, she did it right back and it made for a hilarious, documented, reaction!
As we kept venturing around the park we kept finding cool and unique spots to shoot at. I love that we try and keep our engagement sessions “unscripted” in the fact that we head to the location and while yes, we do scout it beforehand, we sort of just let the magic happen and we wander as a group to whatever seems fitting at the time. It makes things laid back and fun, and let’s us get to better know awesome people like Andrea & Joe as we’re going from place to place!
Now, remember how I was talking about the cloud covered but awesome sunset? The remainder of the images is where it started. Oh Lake Erie, you make for some great photos!
Seriously these two were so natural and at ease in front of the camera, it was amazing. No matter what was going on around them they were so focused on each other and couples like that make me feel even more grateful to have the job that I do.
As the sun set even more I could tell that we were going to get some amazing photos out of it for these two, and that made me so happy. Their wedding is next month already (actually, one month from today!!) and I can’t wait to make even more amazing images then!
All in all, this session was totally awesome. One month to go until the big day and we couldn’t be more excited to capture it! I’ll leave you with one last photo, one of my favorite black and whites from the night!
