So get this, Patty and I go way back, and by way back, I mean WAY back. We’re talking “we met as I drove my Barbie convertible down the road by her house” way back. So when she got in touch with me after getting engaged I was beyond excited to be able to capture her & Chris and their upcoming wedding day!
We went over some great places and settled on one of our favorites for their engagement session: Hinckley Lake.
I was so excited when I talked over ideas for this engagement session with Patty, and one of the things she mentioned is that Chris is into good beer and she’s into some good wine. I told her why not bring a bottle of each and we’ll make it like a little picnic! She was all for it, but wanted to be sure that they didn’t come off looking like lushes, to which of course I laughed and told her I’d do my best. I think everything turned out so perfectly!
These two are so sweet and their session was so easy! I mean, a great looking couple, an adorable lake, and a great textured cloudy sky, how could you possibly go wrong?
We love to have fun with our couples, so I randomly blurted out “make your best Zoolander face!” and part of me wasn’t sure if they would actually do it.. but I barely finished getting the words out and they both totally went for it and it. was. amazing! I love fun & silly photos like this!
We then wandered around more of the Hinckley Lake park and it was so fun! I love this park so much and I love being a Cleveland wedding photographer for the sheer fact that Cleveland has so much to offer for sessions just like this!
Seriously, Patty & Chris, you guys are freaking awesome and we couldn’t be more excited to capture your wedding next summer! We already love photographing weddings here in Cleveland, but it makes it so much more special when we get to do it for people that are so genuine like you two! 😀
