I can say without a doubt that our engagement session with Caitlin & Jason was easily one of the most amusing & fun that we’ve ever had! We started out downtown near Jacob’s Field (Progressive Field… whatever), which was a perfect starting spot because it was the location of their first date! We wandered around that area at the most perfect time: while a game was happening! The buzz of Cleveland on a day when the Cleveland Indians are playing is just an awesome feeling, so we soaked up all of that energy and had lots of fun together!
So as we were walking back to our cars from the stadium to head to location number two, something awesome happened – the Indians hit a home run! We were right underneath the fireworks, it was pretty awesome! These two, of course, had to celebrate! And then, this happened. I told them it was super cheesy but I wanted them to jump out of happiness that we hit a home run. I just couldn’t help it, this HAD to be made into a GIF!
Oh, but that wasn’t it. At this moment Jason decided that it was worth a shot to ask through the gate if the vendors would sell us some hot dogs. Whether that was legal or not, it happened, and it was glorious! Naturally we took a few photos of these two during their snack break! 😀
The group of us then headed over to Edgewater Park which was full of life because there was some sort of festival going on! The city of Cleveland and being Cleveland wedding photographers means that we pretty much have to always be up for anything, and this was no exception! But man, the lighting, the sky, everything made this second part of their session AMAZING. Some of these images are easily going in my list of all time favorites and I cannot wait to make more magic with these two at their wedding this December! You two. You’re awesome. We’ll see you soon! 😀
