A gorgeous bride. A handsome groom. These two alone would have made this day absolutely wonderful, and then they added in a stunning bridal party, a sweet wedding ceremony, and a reception filled with awesome details and the day got even better than anyone could have imagined!
The day started with the girls getting ready at the home of Megan & Jeff, and it was so laid back and fun! All the girls were getting their hair and makeup ready for the day ahead and before we got everyone into their dresses, Megan wanted to be sure we got some photos of them all in their cute robes – I love details like that! Also, can we talk about how gorgeous Megan’s dress was? I thought it was stunning on the hanger but when she put it on it looked like it was literally made for her!
Oh, and I can’t forget Cooper! Some of you may remember this adorable little guy from Megan & Jeff’s engagement session – look how much he’s grown up! I thought it was so cute that he even decided to dress up for the occasion! 😀
On the other side of the city (okay, right down the street actually) Jeff was getting ready himself! Trusty Jim may have even had a travel partner heading over to the guys house… he brought Cooper so we could get some shots of both Jeff and his dog!
With all of that – it was time for the ceremony! And, how brilliant is this – Megan had guests throw fake leaves at them as they exited instead of doing bubbles! So unique for a fall wedding!
With our time in between the ceremony and reception, we ventured around Berea, headed to downtown Cleveland, and then made our way to Medina and Fox Meadows Country Club for their reception! I literally love that Jim and I are Cleveland wedding photographers because we have the ability to shoot all over the city and capture some great shots!
And then this photo happened. Thanks, random wind tunnel, for perfectly grabbing Megan’s veil and making it fly perfectly! I love when the veil does its own thing and we don’t have to “fake toss” it! (Although I bet you can’t tell when we do that!)
We took a few more photos downtown and then headed to Fox Meadows which gave us a bunch of awesome areas to grab some more photos before these guys headed in to the reception for the party!
See that photo above? Super cute, right? Having the bridal party toss leaves on you (which, how perfect are these leaves, am I right?!) and then kissing under it and oh it’ll create a good photo. Well, yes it does, until you do it again just to make sure everything is perfect and the guys get WAY too serious about their leaf-grabbing and this happens. I still laugh every time I look at these photos below. I just love the pile of leaves coming right at them on the left, too funny.
We wandered around the grounds at Fox Meadows some more and got some great photos as the sun was setting! Such a great spot in Medina! And on the next photo, seriously, how stunning are all these girls? Makes my job SO easy!
And suddenly, it was time for entrances, first dances, and getting the party started on the dance floor!
These two stuck with tradition and did the bouquet and garter toss, it was great! We’re seeing more and more couples omitting those traditions lately, so it was fun to see it happen! Personally, I’m a fan of them! Such a fun moment!
And the dance party just continued!
Then this happened: Eye of the Tiger came on and Jeff and his dad & brothers all had the most wonderful moment on the dance floor together! There were dance punches, lots of smiles, lots of singing, and lots of pretty impressive dance moves from all the guys out there!
And somehow the night quickly came to a close! Megan & Jeff. Guys. We literally love you two! We had so much fun and are so so happy that we got to document your big day! Even better yet, we’re so happy that we get to call you guys friends! (: Your day was a BLAST! Xoxo!
