Hi friends! It’s one of my favorite times of the year, where I get to take a minute to round up my favorite images from the entire 2016 season! This year, phew, it was so insanely great that it’s almost hard to believe it was real. From plenty of sessions in Cleveland, along with adventures for photos across the country and back.. as well as a ‘still doesn’t seem real’ trip to Iceland and photographing couples near some of the most stunning of waterfalls.
To get to capture beautiful moments as a Cleveland wedding photographer is such an incredible honor and I still pinch myself every day when I think about all the couples I’ve gotten lucky enough to not only meet, but to be present at one of their best days ever. From ballrooms to industrial warehouses to outdoor gardens, this year was filled with all the best kinds of things and all the best kinds of love. Every single couple is different, and to be able to take a moment to document their love the way I see it and envision it is like, this insane gift that I can’t quite put how thankful I am into words.
I still look through these images and get all emotional. All these moments, all these days, all these incredible humans… they’ve all been in front of my camera and have photos that I took to cherish their most wonderful days with. It’s weird, I’ve encountered people lately who don’t seem to love and adore being a photographer anymore, that it’s turned into simply a ‘job’ that they use to pay the rent, but I just can’t ever imagine falling out of love with this absolutely wonderful, perfect, chaotic life that I’ve built behind the camera.
