Veronica + Jensen. Okay, let’s go with Ronni, since that’s how we and I’m sure most of you know her. These two, oh my gosh. It’s hard to put into words the kind of love that these two have, but a few come to mind. Their love is effortless, happy, and warm. Watching these two interact is such a joy and it made this little road trip to OU worth every second. (Okay, so Jim went there and it took .5 seconds for us to decide this would be worth every second anyway.)
I am so glad that these two chose Ohio University for their engagement photos because, you see, that’s where their love story began. She was a soccer player, he was a baseball player, and in some amazing twist of fate these two Bobcat athletes found each other and fell in love. What’s even more awesome? That we all trekked down on the most beautiful fall day to reminisce + take some photos.
First, we grabbed some food at Broney’s, had Ronni do a quick change in a questionable locale, and then started to wander around Court Street. We wanted this session to feel as organic as possible, so we let these two lead the way. We made great progress around campus and ended our photo time at the Ridges. Those of you who didn’t go to OU, the Ridges are notoriously known as one of the more haunted locations… but somehow it made the perfect spot for some photos. We’ll just ignore the weird light on the top floor of the one building that just randomly came on.
We all made our way back to Court Street and of course ended the night at a couple OU bars. For those Bobcats reading, we opted to head into the C.I. as Jensen’s choice and then we made our way to Pawpurrs where I’m proud to say I finally had my very first triple blackout. All in all, I could not be a bigger fan of Ohio University engagement sessions, especially with these two gems! So incredibly thankful to have met these two at Ronni’s sister’s wedding that we photographed last year!
