Once upon a time, Elise + Matt got engaged and happily started planning their Cleveland, Ohio wedding. Relatively soon after getting things nearly fully booked and handled, they took a trip to Sedona, Arizona. Well, if you’ve been to Sedona (if you haven’t – GO!) you know it’s sort of an incredible wonderland of good vibes and beautiful views. Fast forward to a text message sent saying “if we changed the wedding to Sedona would you be able to go out there..” and an immediate “yes” response from myself and here we are: a Sedona, Arizona wedding at L’Auberge.
Watching Elise and Matt interact with each other is like something out of a dream. These two are so gracious and so undeniably in love it’s sincerely still so surreal that their wedding day was real. Not to mention, have you seen them? Jokes may or may not have been made that it’s like Clark Kent marrying Malibu Barbie. But for real, all the googly heart eyes for these two.
Their day was calm. It was full of happiness, love, and the most stunning views ever. L’Auberge was the most wonderful oasis of a location in the middle of Sedona and let me tell you, honestly, BTS Event Management absolutely crushed it and made everything run and look so unbelievably perfect. If the movie Groundhog Day was real and one day was repeated over and over again? This one would be the dream.
Elise and Matt. This is my little love letter to you both: thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everything. You two made me feel like part of the family (shoutout to the whole Budowanec clan for taking me in!). This day will forever and ever be so special to me not only because of how beautiful Sedona is or how insanely wonderful you humans are; but because witnessing your true, genuine love still makes my heart smile. <3
