Shikha + Drew. Oh my goodness. Getting to not only meet, but to photograph these two was a complete joy. There’s something about the connection between these two, the little laughs they share, the jokes, etc. that makes being around them so great. Full transparency, when these two opted to do a wintery engagement session I was a little nervous. We didn’t have snow, it was chilly out, there was no telling what else Mother Nature would throw our way. About 10 seconds into their session, no joke, it was apparent that it did. not. freaking. matter. Not only was the day perfect, but Shikha + Drew were everything and more in front of the camera.
Blue Hen Falls is somewhere that I’ve wanted to shoot for some time, and in the winter with the frozen falls it was even more gorgeous than I realized. I would shoot this session over and over and over again with these two, no doubt. I cannot freaking WAIT for their wedding this year, it’s going to be so good to be around these amazing humans again!
