Where on earth do I begin with these two incredible human beings? Let’s start with this: when you combine two of the most fun, amazing, in love people and ask them to throw a party celebrating their love it is instantly a day of epic proportions. Serena and Max started their day with their close friends; getting ready, having fun, enjoying every second of the morning. Come afternoon, it was time for the official festivities to begin.
A simple little garden in the middle of Hingetown was the setting for these two to meet. Serena quickly threw her belongings aside and made her way to Max so they could share in this moment. After a few hugs and kisses, and some squeals from Serena about how excited she was because, duh!, these two read personal vows to each other amongst the summer sun. From there, we were able to wander around the area and capture some photos until it was time to head to Lakewood Park for their ceremony.
The ceremony under the gorgeous blue sky was sweet and thoughtful. All guests (and passersby for that matter) could easily see how meant for each other these two are by the glances they made at one another. With the ceremony concluding, photos done being taken, there was only one thing to do – get. some. pie!
Rood Food + Pie in Lakewood was the single most perfect setting for a wedding reception. A first dance next to a neon sign that read “born to love”. Family and friends all around. The night continued the perfection that the day had began. After dinner and copious amounts of pie were consumed (which was amazing, by the way), it was on to the dance floor. And let me tell you: Serena can freaking DANCE. Please, scroll ahead to relive their day, through these photos.
