Let me start by saying this: as a Cleveland wedding photographer I am fortunate enough to meet a lot of amazing human beings. Mallory and Torrey, wow, there are not enough amazing words to say about both of them. Photographing their engagement session and then their wedding gave such incredible insight to their sweet, wonderful love story. These two? These two are the kind of couple that I could photograph over and over and over. The effortless connection between these two is the thing of dreams.
Mal and Torrey had obviously planned a very different type of wedding before the world was hit with a pandemic. There would have been a large wedding followed by a very large, amazing party. And while this would have been a terrific, fun day to celebrate their love, the day they actually had was absolutely perfect. The love these two share was so beautifully displayed in the calm, serene setting of Mapleside. They had a backyard reception with family and select close friends instead of the large rager. While wild receptions are a boatload of fun, something about this sweet, delicate evening felt very perfect.
This day was emotional, in the best way. Mal and Torrey may have been surrounded by less people, but they were surrounded by more love than seems possible. The universe truly did an amazing job in bringing these two together, and the feeling of their day should be able to be bottled up and kept forever.
The future is so bright for these wonderful humans, and getting to follow along with their life chapters is something I am looking forward to.
